Usage[تعديل]

1341 gathering of prince-electors from the constituent states of the Holy Roman Empire. The use of heraldry as a means to identify geographical entities is a centuries-old tradition.

This is a template for the orderly and simple illustration of countries, regions, cities or other entities – e.g. in lists and infoboxes – through their respective coats of arms.

Only escutcheons (i.e. each respective coat of arms's focal "shield", which in in other variants might be part of a comprehensive achievement) are included. This ensures that the arms remain informative even when rendered at low resolutions, as well as a meaningful degree of uniformity. This practice is in conformity with the rules of heraldry.

Accordingly, will for example Belgium show, and not .
