الممثل الامريكانى بروس ويليس ابتدا مسيرته المهنية سنة 1980 بدور غير معتمد فى فيلم الخطيئة المميتة الأولى . بعد ما لعب دور الضيف فى حلقة سنة 1984 من برنامج Miami Vice ، ظهر فى الحلقة الأولى من إحياء The Twilight Zone سنة 1985 . حقق ويليس الشهرة من خلال بطولة المسلسل الكوميدى الدرامى ABC Moonlighting (1985–1989)، اللى اخد 3 ترشيحات لجايزة جولدن جلوب احسن ممثل - مسلسل تلفزيونى مزيكا أو كوميدى وترشيحين لجايزة Primetime Emmy Award احسن ممثل رئيسى فى مسلسل درامى .[1][2] سنة 1988، قام ببطولة دور جون ماكلين فى فيلم Die Hard (1988)، و هو الفيلم اللى أنتج 4 أجزاء أكسبته شهرة دولية كبطل أكشن.[3] فى السنين اللى بعد كده ، قدم ويليس صوته فى لعبة الفيديو Apocalypse (1998)، [4] والفيلم الكوميدى Look Who's Talking (1989)، وتكملة له Look Who's Talking Too (1990). سنة 1991، ابتكر قصة هدسون هوك ، ولعب دور البطولة فى دور Bo Weinberg فى بيلى باثجيت ، وظهر فى The Last Boy Scout مع دامون وايانز ، اللى نال إعجاب كبير وترشيح لجايزة MTV Movie Award احسن ثنائى على الشاشة .[5] تشمل اعتمادات ويليس الإضافية Pulp Fiction (1994)، و 12 Monkeys (1995)، و Last Man Standing (1996)، والعنصر الخامس (1997)، وهرمجدون (1998). سنة 1999، قام ببطولة دور الدكتور مالكولم كرو فى فيلم The Sixth Sense (1999) اللى نال استحسان النقاد، اللى اخد ستة ترشيحات لجوايز الأوسكار .[6] أدى ظهوره كضيف فى برنامج Friends سنة 2000 لحصوله على ترشيحه التالت لجايزة إيمي، وهذه المرة لجايزة احسن ممثل ضيف فى مسلسل كوميدى .[2] بعد ظهوره فى Sin City (2005) والتعبير عن الشخصية الرئيسية فى فيلم الرسوم المتحركة Over the Hedge (2006)، قام ببطولة فيلم Red وظهر فى فيلم The Expendables (الاتنين 2010).
