باربنهايمر[a] دى ظاهرة انترنت ابتدت على السوشال ميديا قبل الاصدار المسرحى المتزامن للفيلمين البلوك باستر, باربى و اوبنهايمر, فى 21 يوليه 2023, فى امريكا و بلاد تانيه كتيره. الكلمه دى لفظ منحوت من عنوان الفيلمين. التناقض ما بين باربى—فانتازيا كوميديه لجريتا جيروج عن عروسة الازياء باربى—و اوبنهايمر—اثاره و سيره ذاتيه ملحميه لكريستوفر نولان عن الفيزيائى جيه روبرت اوبنهايمر, المدير العلمى لمشروع مانهاتن, و اللى طور اول اسلحه نوويه فى الحرب العالميه التانيه—ادى لاستجابه كوميديه من اليوزرس بتوع الانترنت, بما فيها الميمز و البضايع. وصفت بوليجون الفيلمين بان هما "متناقضين للغايه", و وصفت فارايتى الظاهره بان هى "الحدث السينمائى لده العام".[4]

مع قرب ميعاد نزول الفيلمين, بدل ما يتخلق منافسه بين الفيلمين, ظهرت اقتراحات لمشاهدة الفيلمين كفيلمين مميزين—بالاضافه لترتيب مشاهدة الفيلمين—و رد اعضاء الكاست بتوع الفيلمين بتشجيع المشاهدين على مشاهدة الفيلمين فى نفس اليوم. من ضمن المشاركين من المشاهير الممثل توم كروز, و اللى اشترى تذكرتين عشان يتفرج على الفيلمين فى الوقت اللى فيلمه الاخير, ميشون: امبوسيبول – ديد ريكونينج بارت ون, لسه شغال فى دور العرض.
