English: A banknote issued for circulation within the Empire of Manchuria (also known as Manchukuo). Manchukuo was a Japanese puppet state in what is today northeastern China and was ruled by the former Emperor of the Manchu Qing Dynasty, Manchukuo was invaded by Soviet forces near the end of the second world war and fell in 1945.
