[تعديل]مدة برلمان المملكه المتحده ال53 كانت من يوم 7 يونيه سنة 2001 لحد يوم 11 ابريل سنة 2005.
أعضاء البرلمان اللى انتُخبوا لمجلس العموم فى الانتخابات العامة سنة 2001 ، فى 7 يونيو. تتم ترتيب القائمة حسب الدايرة الانتخابية. يتم الإشارة للنواب الجدد المنتخبين من الانتخابات العامة والتغييرات فى الولاء الحزبى . من الوافدين الجدد البارزين لمجلس العموم ديفيد كاميرون ، وديفيد ميليباند ، وبوريس جونسون ، وجون ثورسو ، وجورج أوزبورن ، ونايجل دودز ، وكريس جرايلينج ، وآندى بيرنهام ، وآدم برايس ، وأليستير كارمايكل ، وأنجوس روبرتسون ، وكريس براينت ، ونورمان لامب ، وتوم واتسون (اللى وصل الكتير منهم لمناصب عليا فى الحكومة و/أو أحزابهم).
خلال فترة البرلمان 2001-2005، كان مايكل مارتن رئيس للبرلمان، وشغل تونى بلير منصب رئيس الوزراء، وشغل ويليام هيج وإيان دنكان سميث ومايكل هوارد منصب زعيم المعارضة. و تم حل ده البرلمان فى 11 ابريل 2005.

ملاحظة: الحزب الوطنى الاسكتلندى و حزب بليد كامرو مجموعة حزبية، فى حين لم يشغل حزب شين فين كراسىه . دى مش خطة الجلوس الرسمية لمجلس العموم، اللى يضم خمسة صفوف من الكراسى على كل جانب، حيث يجلس حزب الحكومة على يمين الرئيس و أحزاب المعارضة على يساره، لكن مع مساحة لنحو تلتين النواب بس للجلوس فى أى وقت.
