- يناير : ضرب اسرائيل لغزة في عملية اسمها الرصاص المتدفق , بسبب اتهام اسرائيل لحماس بانها بترمي عليها صواريخ , وبسبب استخدام اسرائيل للقوة مات عدد كبير من المدنيين تعدي ال 1000 واحتجاج دولي ومظاهرات في العالم كله عشان غزة .
- يناير : يستلم باراك اوباما الحكم فعليا ويدخل البيت الابيض بعد انتهاء الفترة الانتقاليه ويرحل جورج بوش الرئيس اللي قبله .
