English: A montage of 24 notable Israeli Jews. All identify as Israeli Jews or represent the Israel at international level. Including:
  • 1st row, left to right:
    • Ada Yonath - Israeli crystallographer best known for her pioneering work on the structure of the ribosome. Yonath received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009.
    • Robert Aumann - an Israeli American mathematician and a member of the United States National Academy of Sciences. He is a professor at the Center for the Study of Rationality in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. He also holds a visiting position at Stony Brook University and is one of the founding members of the Center for Game Theory in Economics at Stony Brook. Aumann received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2005.
    • Natalie Portman - Israeli American actress.
    • Amos Oz - Israeli writer, novelist, and journalist.
    • Yossi Benayoun - an Israeli football player currently playing for Queens Park Rangers.
    • Shahar Pe'er - Israeli professional tennis player.
  • 2nd row, left to right:
    • Moshe Dayan - Israeli military leader and politician. The fourth Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (1953–1958), he became a fighting symbol to the world of the new State of Israel. He went on to become Defense Minister and later Foreign Minister of Israel.
    • David Ben-Gurion - the first Prime Minister of Israel.
    • Yitzhak Rabin - an Israeli politician and general. He was the fifth Prime Minister of Israel, serving two terms in office, 1974–1977 and 1992 until his assassination in 1995. In 1994 Rabin won the Nobel Peace Prize.
    • Menachem Begin - an Israeli politician and the sixth prime minister of the State of Israel. Begin’s most significant achievement as prime minister was signing a peace treaty with Egypt in 1979, for which he and Anwar Sadat shared the Nobel Prize for Peace.
    • Golda Meir - an Israeli politician and the fourth prime minister of the State of Israel.
    • Ariel Sharon - former Israeli Prime Minister and general.
  • 3rd row, left to right:
    • Ilan Ramon - a fighter pilot in the Israeli Air Force, and later the first Israeli astronaut.
    • Benyamin Netanyahu - the Chairman of the Likud Party and the current Prime Minister of Israel. He previously held the same position from June 1996 to July 1999.
    • Natan Sharansky - chairman of the Jewish Agency, refusenik (Jews whom were denied permission to emigrate abroad by the authorities of the former Soviet Union)and former Israeli politician and minister.
    • Itzhak Perlman - Israeli-American violin virtuoso, conductor, and master-instructor. He is widely considered as one of the preeminent violin virtuosi of the 20th century.
    • Yisrael Meir Lau - the Chairman of Yad Vashem and Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv, Israel. He previously served as the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel from 1993 to 2003.
    • Ovadia Yosef - a Mizrahi Haredi rabbi, Talmudic scholar, and recognized halakhic authority. He previously served as the Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel from 1973 to 2003. Yosef is also the current spiritual leader of the Shas political party in the Israeli Knesset. He is highly revered in the religious world, especially in the Sephardi and Mizrahi communities, for his erudition and Torah scholarship.
  • 4th row, left to right:
    • Emile Habibi - an Israeli Arab writer and politician. Winner of the Israel Prize for Literature in 1992.
    • Raleb Majadele - an Israeli Arab politician. A member of the Knesset between 2003 and 2009, he became the country's first Muslim minister when appointed Minister without Portfolio on 28 January 2007.
    • Salim Tuama - an Israeli Arab and Palestinian Christian football player. He currently plays for Larissa F.C. as well as Israel's national football team.
    • Aviv Geffen - an Israeli rock musician, singer, songwriter, producer, keyboardist and guitarist.
    • Dana International - an Israeli pop singer. She is most famous for having won the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest.
    • Eyal Golan - a popular Israeli singer who sings in the Mizrahi style. Golan is one of the most successful singers of the Mizrahi genre in Israel.
