Hello, I respect your opinion and concern but here are some points I would like to point out to you. Firstly, Egyptian did not come straight from some language, it's the result of influence of many languages on our original spoken language coptic, most is Arabic as it being the official language in Egypt since 1400 years ago. Egyptians never spoke classical Arabic and were never arabs. Secondly, we are trying to do the natural thing which is to use our mother spoken tongue language like every nation in the world, you seem u live in the US, so do they speak a language and write in a different language? This is one of the factors that makes us underdeveloped country copared to the rest of the world; our situation is like dark ages in europe where latin was used in official things while spoken spanish, german, and english were just spoken coloquil languages, as they were enlightened, they abandoned this practice and as u see, there is italian, spanish, english, etc. Thirdly, in terms of our religion and Arabic language to be forgotten, we never speak it but we know it from teaching at school so we can still learn it and Islam is not only for Arabic speaking people,; the country with most muslims in the world is not even in mid east north africa it's Indonesia.
