فى الكتاب المقدس ، مرات لوط Lot's wife هى شخصيه مذكوره لأول مرة فى سفر التكوين 19 . يصف كتاب التكوين كيف بقت عمود ملح بعد ما نظرت لسدوم . لم يذكر اسمها فى الكتاب المقدس، لكن تسمى آدو أو إيديث فى بعض التقاليد اليهودية . تمت الإشارة ليها كمان فى الكتب القانونية التثنية فى سفر الحكمة ( Wisdom 10:7 ) والعهد الجديد فى لوقا 17 : 32.

عمود الملح

عمود من الملح اسمه "ست لوط" يقع قرب البحر الميت فى جبل سدوم بالأردن . ويتم عرض لوحه ثانية للسياح عبر البحر الميت، فى الأردن، قرب أنقاض دير القديس لوط البيزنطى .^[1]
