وصل البورتجاليين جزيرة تيمور ف بداية القرن الستاشر و عاشو ف شرء الجزيره و الألمان بعد كده استعمرو الجزء الغربى و أيام الحرب العالميه التانيه حطت استراليا قوات ليها ف تيمور الشرئيه و أسست فيها منطقة عازلة ، بعد كده احتلـها اليابانيين.

نظام الحكم ف تيمور الشرئيه جمهورى , والرئيس فى تيمور الشرئيه بيتم انتخابه فى انتخابات عامه لمده رياسه خمس سنين .
العاصمه بتاعتها ديلى .
