ادوين رود Edwin Ruud هو مهندس ميكانيكى ومخترع نرويجى أمريكى اتولد فى يوم 9 يونيه 1854 فى النرويج، وهاجر لامريكا و أكمل دراسته هناك. اتعرف بتصميمه سخان الماء بدون خزان، وتوفى فى 9 ديسمبر 1932.^[6]
